Let it snow!!!

Our first real snow fall came right before Christmas. The kids had a blast playing in the snow. I don't know how much we got but, when the second storm came, it was freezing. More than I can stand. Right now, it has been 18 degrees everyday. Too cold. The kids are so cute with their frozen faces. I just want to make them come in and throw blankets around them all.

Forget the kids, what do I want for Christmas!!!

I want my own house, but I am a realist so I will settle for world peace. HO! HO! HO!

My Favorite Things

I figure if Oprah can have her favorite things, so can I. Except mine are stupid email forwards instead of gifts and none of you are going home with anything, sorry!!!

My Favorite Blonde Joke. (This is no offense to my gorgeous blonde friends and family members. I love you all.)

A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me.I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get it started." He asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?" The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a tiger." Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says,First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able toassemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger." He takes her hand and says,"Second, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then...."
he sighed...

"Let's put all these Frosted Flakes back in the box."

Families are weird!

Okay, one Sunday we decided to take some pictures because Dani was in town for a few hours with a layover. I wanted a sister picture. We took a bunch and not very many turned out. We got the sister picture with mom and then we took a goofy jumpin' picture (it's not as easy as we make it look. After all, we are professionals) and the circle picture with mom and dad, me, Summer, Suzanne, Danielle, Alicia. Alicia is our surrogate sister.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at dad's house. We had twelve adults and five kids. This is a picture of most of our guests. We also have the typical kiddie table. We had great food. Derrek made the turkey with his usual brine and the rosemary and garlic potatoes, mom made her fruit salad, I made my sweet potatoes, Suzanne made her jello salad and spinach dip. We ate a ton and enjoyed Summer's carmel popcorn and Alicia's pumpkin roll while we played games all night long. We had Summer's boyfriend Marc this year and Derrek's girlfriend Kim too. It was a nice day and truly something to be thankful for.

More Pictures

I can't get it to load more than two pictures. Bear with me.

Christmas Picture

I think I finally figured this out. Here are pictures from our photo shoot with Marc and Summer. These are also the pictures we used for our Christmas card.

Halloween

Here are the kids at Halloween. They "trick or treated" at Suz's work and then in the neighborhood that night. They had tons of candy and still have a lot left. This is a picture of my kids and Billy's kids and then a picture of Summer as Marge Simpson with my kids.

Christmas Card

This is my very first post to my new blog. I have been working hard to get our Christmas cards done this year in a timely manner. We went up to Big Cottonwood with Summer and Marc and they took a ton of pictures with my new camera. I will post pictures from the cold photo shoot when I figure this whole thing out. Summer and Marc did a great job. Thanks guys and thanks to the kids for cooperating with all my photo requirements. They are good sports!
